The First Annual Gulf Studies Forum will take place from December 5-7, 2015, at the Lusail Hall of Doha's Ritz-Carlton Hotel. Building on the success of the Third Annual Conference of Arab Research Centers, which focused on the GCC states,  the Forum will address two topics in parallel streams of sessions: Education in the Gulf; and the Security and International Relations of the Gulf States, which will be a constant theme of the annual event.

The Academic Committee has already informed scholars of decisions on the research proposals. No further submissions will be accepted at this stage.

Register for the Conference:
Persons other than invited participants may register to attend the conference provided that they cover the following fees: US$ 300, which covers the cost of a conference bag and of meals over the course of the meeting. All other fees, including airfare, visa fees and room and board are to be covered by the guest.

Registration procedures:
Persons wishing to attend should send a recent CV together with a completed registration form (shown here) to: events@dohainstitute.org

Registration fees should be paid to the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies (account details shown below), while accommodation fees should be paid directly to the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Doha, Qatar.

Entry visas to Qatar: The Center will secure entry visas for registered participants who have paid the appropriate registration fees.
