The executive board of the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies (ACRPS) held its second meeting in Doha, on Saturday, May 20, 2011. Dr. Azmi Bishara, general director of the center, and member of the board, opened the meeting with a eulogy of the late chairman, Khaldoun al-Naqeeb.
He then presented a comprehensive and detailed report on the center's activities, and discussed future plans for the center.
At the end of the meeting, the board elected the prominent Lebanese intellectual, and former Lebanese Minister of Finance, Dr. George Corm as chair.
