The ACRPS' Third Annual Conference of Arab Research Centers, a yearly gathering of representatives of policy research institutes from the Arab region and throughout the world. The 2014 meeting will be titled  “The GCC Countries: Politics and Economics in Light of Regional and International Shifts and Changes.”

With this year's conference devoted to the Gulf Cooperation Council, former GCC Secretary General and long-standing Qatari statesman His Excellency Abdulrahman Bin Hamad Al Attiyah, will deliver one of two keynote lectures, focusing on the future prospects of the GCC. Al Attiyah will be followed by UN Secretary General's Special Adviser on Yemen, Jamal Benomar, to deliver the second keynote lecture where he will discuss the GCC's role in the resolution of regional crises.

Al Attiyah's and Benomar's speeches will be followed by a panel discussion between a number of distinguished academics with shared experiences from all six members of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
