Hikama is a peer-reviewed journal, specialised in Public Administration and Public Policy and published by the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies and the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies. Hikama welcomes proposals for a special issue titled “Health Systems in the Arab World: Successes, failures, and ways forward"

Timelines

• Manuscript proposal (250-500 words) submission deadline: June 30th, 2022
• Draft manuscript submission with preliminary findings deadline: September 15th, 2023
• Workshop to be held at the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies, Doha, Qatar: November 11 & 12, 2023.
• Revised manuscript (6000-10000) submission deadline (incorporating feedback from the workshop): December 30th, 2023
• Manuscripts – peer-review process – 3 months
