Dr. Elnour Hamad received his PhD from the University of Illinois, USA, in Fine Arts Education. He has taught Fine Arts Education at Eastern Washington University and Mansfield University in the USA. He is a writer, researcher, creative artist and civil society activist. Dr. Hamad has written more than a hundred articles in Sudanese newspapers in the fields of thought, arts and culture.
Holds a PhD in education from the University of Illinois, USA, and worked as Researcher and Editor-in-Chief for the journal Siyasat Arabiya and Head of the Arabic Editorial Department at the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies in Doha (2012-2016). He engages in research and authorship on the roots of Sudanese identity. His published works include: maḥārib al-mubdaʿīn: qirā'a fī as-siyar w-an-nuṣūṣ al-sūdānīya; li-māḏā yaṣḥū mārid al-haḍaba wa yaǧfū mārid al-sahl?; awrāq sūdānīya: ad-dīn – as-sīyāsa – at-taqāfa; as-sūdān: afāq al-wa'y bi-ḏ-ḏāt.
