The Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies and the Institute for Palestine Studies announce the opening of registration to attend the Fourth Annual Palestine Forum, on 24-26 January 2026 in Doha. This forum offers a unique opportunity for attendees to engage with presentations on a wide variety of multi-disciplinary topics.
Researchers and interested individuals, who are not submitting papers and who reside outside of Qatar can register to attend the conference between 2 October and 30 November, 2025, by completing and submitting the online application form.
Please note that registration for attendees residing in Qatar will open in January 2026.
Please note that a limited number of applications will be accepted. All applications will undergo review and evaluation on a competitive basis, and only accepted applicants will be notified.
The previous three rounds of the Palestine Forum, held in 2023, 2024 and 2025, were a huge success, both in terms of the quality of the papers presented and the volume of participation and interaction from attendees from all over the world. Around 220 peer-reviewed papers were selected from a total of 1400 submissions and were presented in themed sessions. In addition, the forum hosted a number of specialized and general symposiums related to current issues concerning Palestine.
The forum will continue to provide a dynamic academic space for those interested in the Palestinian cause and its broader regional and global implications. It significantly contributes to scholarly research on Palestine, reaffirming the importance of the Palestinian cause and both Arab and international engagement with it.
This year’s forum will allocate a special space for research related to Israel’s ongoing genocidal war in Gaza and the future of Gaza Strip, the military escalation in the West Bank, and the challenges of resisting displacement and annexation plans. This will include an exploration of the local, regional, and international repercussions of these developments, raising critical questions about the international order, the effectiveness of international law, and the role of Arab and regional actors, in addition to questions related to genocide, ethnic cleansing, forced internal displacement, refugees, resistance movements, direct control and governance policies, the role of the Palestinian national movement and political parties, global solidarity movements, and post-war reconstruction efforts.
