Conferences, Symposia and Seminars

The Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies regularly organizes conferences, lectures, and symposia, where it welcomes expert participants to contribute their insight. Regular events at the Center include the five main series of conferences: the Biennial Conference of the Social Sciences and Humanities; the Annual Conference on Democratic Transition; the Annual Gulf Studies Forum; the Annual Conference of Historical Studies; and the Annual Arabs and the World Conference. The continually expanding agenda of the Center also includes a series of multi-thematic conferences, seminars and workshops.

​This conference is organized by the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies in cooperation with the Arab Association of Constitutional Law. It comes within the series of annual conferences on the issues of democracy and democratic transition, which is supervised by the project for "The Project of “Democratic Transformation and Transition Phases in The Arab Countries”. The conference will track how the issue of a constitution has been managed in Arab countries that have embarked on transitions, drafted new constitutions (or constitutional documents), or made amendments to previous ones.
