On Saturday, 2 March 2024, the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies will launch the fourth round of the Arab Graduate Students Conference in Doha. The event, which welcomes research from a wide range of disciplines within the social sciences and humanities, will continue until 4 March.

The conference provides a dynamic academic environment that brings together Arab doctoral students in Western universities and offers them an opportunity to present and to enrich their research by exchanging knowledge and experience with their peers and receiving feedback from specialized academics. The event allows the participants to become familiar with the Arab research agenda and establish academic and professional relations within the Arab academic community.

The three day meeting will include 12 sessions, in which 67 researchers from Western universities will present their research papers in parallel. The papers explore topics across politics and international relations; security and migration/refugee studies; literature and cultural studies; gender and citizenship studies; health, development, and urban studies; history, philosophy, and law; education; media; linguistics; and translation studies. More than 50 specialized professors will provide tailored feedback on these papers.
