An international academic symposium on “Heritage Policies in the Arab Maghreb” came to an end in Tunis on 13 October 2018. Organised by the Tunis office of the ACRPS in conjunction with Laboratoire de recherche "Occupation du sol, peuplement et modes de vie dans le Maghreb antique et médiéval", at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities in Sousse.

The symposium discussed various policies devoted to heritage and administration of heritage in the Maghreb. Thirty-two scholars from the Arab Maghreb (Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, Mauritania and Libya) as well as academics from France presented their studies in the symposium, which was attended by students, researchers and academics.
