Saturday 22 September 2018, the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies concluded the seventh Annual Conference on Democratic Transition in Hammamet, Tunisia with a closing session on the conclusions, prospects and impact External Factors and the post-2011 Democratic Transition in the Arab Region.

The final day enjoyed a significant presence of researchers, experts, graduate students and media professionals. The conference committee devoted these sessions to exploring the roles of regional powers and their impact on the post-2011 paths of transition.

The theme of the eighth Annual Conference on Democratic Transition, set to take place in 2019, was presented in the final session, and will be devoted toTransitional Justice and Democratic Transition.
