The Iranian Studies Unit of the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies invites applications for a Research Fellowship in Iranian studies. The fellowship is for a period of one year, with a possibility of renewal for an additional year.

In addition to undertaking their own research, research fellows provide research support to the unit’s team members and contribute to the unit’s publications and events. Research projects undertaken by the Research Fellow must correspond with the research agenda of the Arab Center and the Unit. The aim of the program is to assist early career scholars and researchers working on Iran to develop their research projects and skills, and get the support needed from the Center’s researchers.

The candidate must have an earned doctorate degree in a relevant discipline in the social sciences and humanities. They must also have language fluency in English, Arabic, and Persian. Previous research experience on Iran and related topics is a plus. Additionally, candidates should be detail-oriented and have excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
