The Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies and the Institute for Palestine Studies are extending the deadline to register to attend the second round of the Annual Palestine Forum, without submitting a paper, until 13 January 2024, in response to multiple requests to extend the period open to register. The Annual Palestine Forum, organized by the two institutions, will be held in 10 – 12 February 2024.
The first round of the Palestine Forum, held in late January 2023 in Doha, was a huge success, both in terms of the quality of the papers presented and the volume of participation and interaction from attendees from all over the world. Currently, the forum committees are undergoing the peer-review process of over 200 research papers, selected from the submission of 520 research proposals.
The Annual Palestine Forum represents an unparalleled opportunity for researchers and those interested in Palestine to present and discuss their work, exposing each other to new research trends for Palestine studies, and fostering an interactive academic environment.
Moreover, the Forum invites researchers and those interested in studies on Palestine but who do not wish to submit research papers to benefit from the presentations and discussions by registering to attend. Registration to attend without submitting a research paper is open until 13 January 2024.
Attending the conference without submitting a research paper
Interested parties and individuals (who are not submitting papers) can register to attend the conference between 10 September 2023 and 13 January 2024 by filling out and submitting the online application form. A limited number of applications will be accepted.
- Fill out and submit the relevant online application form no later than 13 January 2024. Keep in mind that the two institutions will accept a limited number of applicants on a competitive basis:
- The Arab Center will process the entry visa only to the State of Qatar.
- The Arab Center will not cover travel and accommodation expenses for attendees who are not submitting papers.
- The Arab Center will provide accepted applicants a list of recommended accommodation for their convenience during the conference.
