The issue includes the following studies: “Forecasting Civil Nuclear Energy in Arab Countries by 2040: Readiness, Trade-offs, and Prospects for Regional Integration” by Moza Rabban-Al Mohammad; “Nuclear Leak Scenarios in the Arabian Gulf Region: Risks, Prevention Measures, and Response Strategies” by Othmane Bouhali and Mohammed Hassan Al-Hajji; “AI and the Future of Warfare: Is the Era of Nuclear Deterrence Over?” by Abdessamad Fadil; “Symbolic Nuclear Deterrence: Strategic Scenarios and Regional Balances for the Middle East” by AlDana Abdullah Alammari; “A Foresight Approach to Nuclear Energy: Four Global Scenarios” by Editorial Board; “Nuclear Energy Futures under Climate Policy: Narratives and Scenarios” by El Houcine Chougrani and Mohamed Jaouad Malzi; “Prospects for a Nuclear-Weapon-Free Zone in the Middle East: Obstacles and Pathways Forward” by Abdellatif El Moutadayene.

The issue also includes a translation for an executive summary titled “The Path to a New Era for Nuclear Energy” by International Energy Agency. The issue features two book reviews: Nuclear War: A Scenario by Najah Abdulhalim; and Nuclear Power: Technology, Geopolitics, and Economics by Editorial Board. The issue includes also the “Future Issues” section, which contains studies and articles outside the issue's main theme that are of interest to the field of future studies. It includes the study “The Future of Research and Innovation in Oman: Vision 2040 and Beyond” by Yousuf bin Hamed Al Balushi; “Artificial Intelligence 2025-2040: Foresight Synthesis of Political Economy, Sociotechnical Systems, and Democratic Governance” by Ahmed Qasem Hussein; “Towards a More Equal Future: A Geographical Perspective” by Mahdi Al-Awrabi; “Nuclear Energy in Space: A Foresight Essay (2025-2050)” by Editorial Board. The section also includes a number of translations and presentations of the most prominent recent publications in the field of future studies.
