The Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies and the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies are organizing an academic panel titled “A survey of Lebanese voters ahead of national elections: socio-political profile and voter intentions,” on Monday, 25 April 2022, at 12:30 pm Doha time, in the second-floor lecture hall of the Arab Center. The panel will be presented by Charles Harb, Professor of Psychology at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies.

The panel explores the political and social backgrounds of Lebanese voters, in a country undergoing increasingly complex political and economic crises. Given that this election is the first popular vote since the uprising in Lebanon in October 2019, the panel also aims to analyze the likely voting behaviour of Lebanese voters in light of recent opinion polls.

The panel will be attended in person and remotely via Zoom and broadcast across the Arab Center's accounts on social networks (Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube), with public attendance welcomed through pre-registration. Those interested in participating in the panel, including specialists and academic researchers as well as the general public, must register to participate in these sessions, using the attached link.
