The Arab Center to Discuss the Trump Deal to Settle the Palestinian Question

On 28 January 2020, US President Donald Trump announced his "Deal of the Century", at a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. This supposed peace plan represents a continuation of a series of US decisions that began with Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of the occupying Israeli state and the subsequent transfer of the US embassy, up to US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, announcing that the US no longer views settlements in the West Bank as contrary to international law.

Given the importance of this issue, the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies will hold a talk on the issue by the Director General of the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies, Azmi Bishara. The talk, "The Trump-Netanyahu Deal: A Historical Perspective of the US-Israeli plan to Liquidate the Palestinian Question," will be held on Monday, 3 February 2020, at 18:00.

The Arab Center invites researchers, interested parties and the general public to attend the talk held at the main amphitheater of the Cultural Building at the Arab Center in Doha.

Arabic and English interpretation will be offered.
