The Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies and the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies are pleased to announce the upcoming publication of a new journal, Hikama. The peer reviewed periodical will serve an academic and research community audience, as well as a broader circle of stakeholders hailing from the fields of governance, policymaking and management of public institutions. This includes state officials and civil society institutions whose area of interest is linked to public policy.

Hikama is the sixth peer-reviewed academic journal to be published by the Arab Center as part of its mission to produce knowledge in Arab societies based on a comprehensive understanding of the various issues faced by these communities internally, externally and among themselves. The journal is run by a specialized editorial board, as well as an advisory body that oversees its work and adheres to objective guidelines. The journal also includes a section for studies translated into Arabic.

Hikama is to be published twice a year, the first issue of which is expected in the summer of 2020.

The editorial board invites interested writers who wish to publish their research to contact: hikama@dohainstitute.org
